Fixed scope, fixed price
The assessment
Fixed scope, fixed price
A review of your Azure bill from three exports you take from your own portal. I never need access to your environment, and nothing in it can be changed by me.
For software companies with Azure bills from about $2,000 a month.
About 20 minutes of your time; I send exact steps
What you send
About 20 minutes of your time; I send exact steps
- Cost data
- A Cost Management export: three complete closed months, daily, amortized cost.
- Inventory
- A Resource Graph export, using a read-only query I supply.
- Advisor
- Azure Advisor’s cost recommendations, downloaded from the portal.
- Five answers
- Which subscriptions are production; roughly how many engineers; any planned migrations; whether you hold Windows Server or SQL Server licences with Software Assurance; and who will act on the findings.

Detection starts from Microsoft’s FinOps Toolkit queries and Azure Advisor. Then each finding is priced against your own cost data, double-counts are removed so nothing is claimed twice, and everything is ranked by effort and risk. Before the report goes out, I work out the three largest findings again by hand.
Each real finding cites rows of your own data
What you get
Each real finding cites rows of your own data
- A 10–15 page report, with a summary table of every finding: yearly saving, effort and risk.
- Each finding in detail, with the portal path or CLI command to act on it.
- A one-page action list, in order.
- A section on what your data can’t tell you.
What a finding looks like
Illustrative: this shows the report’s format, not a client result.
- Finding
- 9 unattached Premium SSD managed disks, P20 (512 GiB each), East US
- Annual cost
- $7,907.76
- Derivation
- 9 disks × $73.22 a month (P20 list price, East US) = $658.98 a month, × 12
- Effort
- Low: check the owner tags, then delete. About 30 minutes.
- Risk
- Low: take a snapshot first if unsure.
- Evidence
- Inventory rows 14–22, and the cost export lines for those resource IDs
This is not a licensing audit. Hybrid Benefit findings report whether the flag is set; whether you hold the licences is for you or your licensing partner to confirm.
No personal data in the exports
Your data
No personal data in the exports
- The exports contain resource IDs, meter names, SKUs, costs and subscription IDs. No names, email addresses, customer records or user data.
- Sent as a password-protected 7-Zip archive (AES-256), with the password sent separately.
- Stored only on my machine, never passed to AI tools, and deleted 30 days after delivery.
- You can redact resource names first. I work from resource IDs and meter data.
Not included
- Access to your environment
- Implementing the findings
- Architecture redesign
- Checking licence entitlements
- Support beyond written questions for 14 days after delivery
- AWS, Google Cloud or any other cloud
- Security or compliance findings
